Oman urges citizens in tense regional areas to exercise caution, stay in contact with embassies

In light of current developments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following with great concern the rapidly evolving situation in a number of tense areas in the region.

MUSCAT – The Foreign Ministry urged Omani nationals to exercise heightened caution and remain in close contact with the country’s diplomatic missions.

In a statement issued amid escalating regional developments, the Ministry confirmed that the status of Omani citizens in affected areas is being closely and continuously monitored by Oman’s accredited missions, in coordination with relevant local authorities, to ensure their safety and security.

The Ministry called on all Omani nationals in impacted locations to adhere strictly to official instructions, avoid gatherings and areas of tension, and remain vigilant until conditions stabilize.

Citizens were also urged to maintain continuous communication with Omani embassies through designated emergency numbers and to register on the Foreign Ministry’s official application to update their personal information and receive guidance as necessary.
