MUSCAT – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued two Royal Decrees, including one establishing an Omani embassy in the Republic of Belarus and another ratifying a cooperation agreement with Turkey in the health sector, Oman News Agency reported.
Royal Decree No. 33/2026 provides for the establishment of an embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, as part of efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations and expand bilateral cooperation.
Royal Decree No. 34/2026 ratifies an agreement on cooperation between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Republic of Turkey in the fields of health and medical sciences.

The agreement is aimed at enhancing collaboration in healthcare services, medical research, training and the exchange of expertise between the two countries.
The decrees were published in the official gazette and take effect from the date of their issuance.
