THIMPHU : King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of the Kingdom of Bhutan, received today Issa Saleh Al Shibani, who presented his credentials as the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bhutan.
The official ceremony took place at the Tashichho Dzong Royal Palace in the capital, Thimphu.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the King of Bhutan, along with His Majesty’s wishes to the King for continued health and happiness. His Majesty also wished the people of Bhutan further progress and prosperity.

For his part, the King expressed his appreciation for the positive relations between the Kingdom of Bhutan and the Sultanate of Oman, affirming his country’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations.
