MUSCAT : The Ministry of Education has announced that Thursday, February 26, 2026, will be an official holiday for all public and private schools across the Sultanate of Oman in celebration of Omani Teacher’s Day.
The move grants students and teaching staff a day off in recognition of the annual occasion, which is officially observed on February 24 each year to honour the contributions of educators to the nation’s development.
