MUSCAT : The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has confirmed that circulating text messages claiming the imposition of fines and setting deadlines for their payment are false and misleading.
In a statement, Royal Oman Police clarified that the messages have no official basis and were not issued by any authorised body.
