MUSCAT : The achievement comes through a strategic partnership involving the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labour, and the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, represented by the Oman Logistics Centre, in cooperation with the Oman Logistics Association. The programme was implemented by the Mwasalat Training Institute as part of a comprehensive initiative to raise professional standards in school transportation.
During the first phase of the programme, 100 school bus captains and five supervisors were qualified through a specialised training programme. Participants received certified training certificates approved by the Ministry of Labour, in addition to professional practice licenses issued by the Oman Logistics Association. The licenses include verified professional details, including civil number, nationality, and date of issuance.
The programme aims to promote preventive driving practices and enhance student safety, while also developing the technical and supervisory skills of drivers and supervisors. It further seeks to improve the overall quality of school transport services and ensure compliance with approved professional regulations and standards.
Mwasalat Training Institute emphasised that the initiative reflects its commitment to transforming operational expertise into practical, high-impact training programmes designed in line with real field requirements and implemented according to the highest standards.
