MUSCAT – In a statement, the Authority stressed the importance of following instructions and alerts issued by relevant authorities through official channels, emphasizing that public cooperation is essential to safeguarding lives and property.

The CDAA urged motorists to drive carefully, reduce speed, and maintain safe distances between vehicles, while avoiding low-lying areas and locations where water tends to accumulate. Parents were also advised to closely supervise children and prevent them from playing near wadis or standing water.

The Authority further warned against attempting to cross flooded roads or approaching water bodies, as such actions pose serious risks during adverse weather conditions.

In case of emergencies, the public is urged to contact the emergency numbers 9999 or 24343666.
