Writing as a long-time follower who has tracked Padiyarath’s journey since his days as a high school reporter, Dr. Ramachandran shares the following message:

Congratulations dear Nishad Padiyarath and the team at The Arabian Stories on turning 7.

It is so wonderful to see the rapid growth of The Arabian Stories in such a short time. You have seamlessly occupied the space in the English language media in Oman and are rising to the top.

I have been following The Arabian Stories since its inception, or rather even prior to that, having followed a high school student’s writings in Oman’s English dailies. Yes, I can unabashedly say that I was and still am a fan of Nishad since his school days reporting, though he writes far less frequently these days.

TAS has proven to be lightning fast in sharing news online, often within seconds of an event occurring, especially in the sporting arena. The highlight which appeals to me is the focus on Oman – its news, current affairs, sporting news, and promptly disseminating official government news. 

I have had the opportunity to attend TAS Conclave on several occasions and the standout feature has been the quality of topics and eminent speakers. I would also like to congratulate TAS on their fantastic initiative on Her Story Oman Summit – the first of its kind by a Media House to highlight the achievements of Omani Women and giving due recognition to their efforts. I would once again like to congratulate TAS on this fantastic landmark and wish them well on the journey ahead.
