MUSCAT – In a statement, the ROP noted that the strong winds have led to drifting sand in several areas, which may affect horizontal visibility and pose risks to motorists. Road users were urged to exercise caution, adhere to traffic safety instructions, and remain alert while driving.
The Royal Oman Police wished all motorists safe travels and called on the public to prioritize safety during the current weather conditions.
