MUSCAT – The cold air mass is bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures across most governorates, accompanied by active winds that may occasionally intensify. Several meteorological stations recorded strong wind gusts as of 10:00 am, including 26 knots in Muscat and Fahud, 31 knots in Ibri, 23 knots in Makhizna, and 21 knots in both Haima and mountainous areas.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) warned that the weather conditions may lead to reduced horizontal visibility, particularly in exposed areas, as well as rough sea conditions along various coastal regions due to increased wind activity.
