MUSCAT : Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion has announced the launch of the National Discounts and Promotions Campaign, branded as “Oman Celebrates”, beginning January 11 as part of nationwide efforts to stimulate retail activity and support consumers.
The month-long campaign coincides with celebrations marking the anniversary of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s accession to the throne and will feature discounts of no less than 30% across participating outlets, alongside a wide range of promotional offers.
According to the ministry, the campaign will also include prize draws, promotional raffles and instant gifts, aimed at enhancing consumer engagement and encouraging spending across key retail sectors.

Officials said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening the domestic market, supporting businesses and delivering tangible savings to shoppers across the Sultanate during the festive period.
