Major Talal bin Yaqoub Al-Hadhrami, head of the main planning team for National Readiness 2025, said the exercise forms part of the committee’s ongoing efforts to enhance national readiness in dealing with emergencies.
He noted that such exercises are a fundamental pillar in strengthening the national preparedness system, as they help test plans and procedures, raise the efficiency of response teams, and unify efforts between military, security and civilian authorities. This integrated approach, he said, ensures an effective response that protects lives and property while enhancing public safety.
Major Al-Hadhrami added that the exercise provided a practical platform to assess readiness levels and coordination among participating entities, while also identifying strengths and areas requiring improvement. He stressed that lessons learned from the implemented scenarios will contribute to greater integration between concerned parties and a more flexible and efficient national response, ensuring the continuity of basic services and the protection of lives and property in various emergency situations.
