MUSCAT – The Ministry clarified that accredited Omani companies seeking to export poultry and poultry products to Saudi Arabia are required to obtain the Saudi Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certificate for foreign farms.
Issuance of the certificate is contingent upon verification – through inspection by a certification body accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture – that the farm applying for export meets all Saudi Good Agricultural Practices standards.
The Ministry stated that applications for this service must be submitted through the Nama platform. The service is provided free of charge via the official link published by the Ministry: https://t.co/9mKIZykv2q
