MUSCAT : As part of the Glorious National Day celebrations, the Royal Yacht Fulk Al-Salamah, carrying His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, set sail from Port Sultan Qaboos in Muttrah, in a breathtaking display reflecting the Sultanate’s deep-rooted maritime heritage.
Departing under the esteemed care and attention of His Majesty, the royal yacht was accompanied by a procession of traditional Omani sailing ships, creating a vivid scene that showcased the authenticity, craftsmanship and cultural legacy of Oman’s seafaring history.
His Majesty the Sultan will preside over the Naval Fleet Parade 2025 on Friday in Muscat. The naval parade will feature a number of vessels from the Royal Navy of Oman, the Royal Yachts, and boats from the Royal Oman Police, with additional participation of ships belonging to navies of the GCC states.
