MUSCAT — The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation, with support from the Special Taskforce Police Unit in Bawshar, has arrested three individuals of Asian nationality on charges of human trafficking.
According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the suspects allegedly promoted a fake hotel job vacancy and lured a woman of the same nationality under the guise of employment. Upon her arrival, she was coerced into working against her will and forced to engage in acts deemed contrary to public morals.
