MUSCAT : Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on Thursday, marking the first visit by a Kerala Chief Minister to the country in 26 years.
Vijayan was received at Muscat International Airport by senior Omani officials and representatives of the Indian Embassy. The visit, part of his wider Gulf tour covering Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar, underscores Kerala’s deep-rooted ties with the region and its large expatriate population.
