MUSCAT : Marking a key moment in President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s state visit to the Sultanate of Oman, the meeting underscored the enduring strength and depth of relations between Oman and Turkey, reaffirming their shared commitment to regional stability, strategic dialogue, and future cooperation. Discussions centered on reviewing the current status of bilateral ties, identifying new areas of collaboration, and exploring collective approaches to pressing regional challenges.
Both sides reflected on the long-standing historical relationship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Turkey and its evolution across various stages. The dialogue also emphasized expanding cooperation across strategic, cultural, social, and media spheres, initiatives aimed at advancing mutual prosperity and strengthening the bonds between the Omani and Turkish peoples.
Representing Oman at the meeting were His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the Department of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and Regional Neighborhood at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside diplomats from the Ministry and officials from the Ministry of Information and Sultan Qaboos University.

The Turkish delegation was led by His Excellency Dr. Ferhat Pirinci, Deputy Head of the Communications Department at the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and Member of the Security and Foreign Policy Council, accompanied by senior officials.
