MUSCAT – The initiative will help ensure the sustainability of rehabilitation and care services provided to children with disabilities, while also enhancing the quality and reach of support available to this important segment of society.

The agreement was signed at the Association’s headquarters by Eng. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Amri, CEO of Oman Airports, and Khadija bint Nasser Al Saati, Chairperson of the Association’s Board of Directors.
Speaking on the occasion, Eng. Amri explained that the agreement reflects the company’s commitment to its social responsibility and its constant keenness to support initiatives that contribute to empowering various segments of society. He noted that Oman Airports seeks, through these partnerships, to create a positive and sustainable impact on society.

He pointed out that Oman Airports’ commitment to participating in such initiatives stems from its belief in the importance of integrated work between public and private sector institutions in supporting national efforts aimed at empowering various segments of society and enhancing the quality of life in the Sultanate of Oman.

For her part, Khadija Saati expressed her gratitude to Oman Airports, noting that the initiative demonstrates the company’s strong social awareness and active role in supporting humanitarian and development programs.

“This support will contribute significantly to empowering children with disabilities and improving the quality of services provided to them across our centers,” she said.

The Association for Children with Disabilities is one of Oman’s leading civil society organisations, offering rehabilitation, education, and psychosocial support services to children with disabilities. The Association operates multiple centres across the Sultanate’s governorates.
