MUSCAT: Oman Qatar Insurance Company (OQIC) has appointed Hassan Yaseen Ali Al Lawati as the Chief Executive Officer.
In a statement issued to Muscat Securities Market (MSM), OQIC said Hassan will replace Navin Kumar who had resigned on September 8.
“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Hassan Yaseen Ali Al Lawati as the Chief Executive Officer of OQIC, subject to regulatory approvals,” the company said.

Hassan comes with 12 years of industry experience and is one of the emerging leaders in the Omani market arena. Hassan also serves as a Member Board of Directors at Oman Insurance Association (OIA) and is a member in the Finance and Insurance Committee at the Oman Chamber of Commerce.
“His bespoke knowledge of risk management and Omani insurance market will greatly help the company when he takes over in his new role,” OQIC added.
