MUSCAT : Organised by the Children First Association, the three-day conference brings together local and international experts to focus on the rehabilitation and empowerment of children with disabilities through modern technologies and inclusive societal integration.

This year’s edition builds on the success of the inaugural conference, which focused on nurturing gifted children and positioning them as a strategic investment in Oman’s future. The current edition expands the conversation by tackling the challenges faced by children with disabilities and exploring how cutting-edge technologies can open new opportunities for their rehabilitation, education, and active participation in society.

The conference aims to raise awareness about the rights of children with disabilities, provide scientific and practical insights into their integration, and spotlight the work being done by government agencies, private sector organisations, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.

In addition to expert panels and discussions, the event features specialised training workshops for children, their families, and professionals across health, education, and social services. A central highlight is the accompanying exhibition, which brings together institutions and companies involved in childhood affairs, including medical centres, rehabilitation and educational consultancies, psychological services, and tech providers.

The expo also offers interactive activities, entertainment, and theatrical performances for children, making it an inclusive event for families, schools, and the wider community. Participants include students, educators, caregivers, academic institutions, e-commerce platforms, environmental groups, banks, and startups in the child-focused tech and services sector.
