MUSCAT — Acting on the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Foreign Minister His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi led the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman to the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit in Egypt.
The high-level summit, held in the resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, brought together numerous heads of state and senior representatives from regional and international organizations to discuss collective efforts aimed at consolidating the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and reviving a comprehensive and just peace process in the Middle East.
Oman’s participation reaffirmed the Sultanate’s consistent stance advocating dialogue, diplomacy, and humanitarian responsibility as essential pathways toward stability and sustainable peace in the region. Sayyid Badr underscored Oman’s support for all international and regional initiatives that seek to end violence, ensure protection for civilians, and achieve the legitimate rights of Palestinian people.
