MUSCAT : Firefighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) in South Al Batinah Governorate successfully contained a fire that broke out in a number of caravans in the Wilayat of Barka.

According to the CDAA, emergency teams quickly arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze before it spread further, ensuring that no injuries were reported.

Authorities praised the prompt response of the firefighters, whose efforts prevented the fire from causing wider damage.

The CDAA once again urged the public to adhere to safety measures and to ensure that fire prevention systems are in place in temporary housing units and caravans, especially during the dry season when fire risks increase.
