MUSCAT – The campaign, which aligns with the goals of Oman Vision 2040, aims to empower providers to understand their legal duties and motivate them to adopt responsible commercial practices, thereby contributing to improving the quality of services, reducing violations, and enhancing the partnership between the Authority and commercial institutions.

The initiative targets a wide range of stakeholders, including providers, marketing and sales professionals, legal departments within commercial institutions, consumer rights specialists, and those working across relevant sectors. The campaign is being rolled out in cooperation with a number of external partners from government and private sector entities.

According to the CPA, the campaign seeks to raise awareness among providers about their rights and responsibilities, promote responsible business practices that reduce legal violations, introduce digital services offered by the Authority for streamlined compliance, highlight penalties and legal procedures to improve preventive measures, and strengthen the partnership between providers and the Authority.

The campaign represents a strategic step towards embedding the culture of responsible supply in the Sultanate of Oman and strengthening trust among various stakeholders in the market, in a manner that supports the Sultanate’s orientation towards a diversified economy based on innovation and responsibility.

The campaign is also expected to bridge the gap between the Authority and commercial institutions, enabling an open channel for dialogue, policy feedback, and shared responsibility in protecting consumer rights.
