LONDON : The delegation highlighted opportunities across key industrial clusters, including pharmaceuticals, plastics, food, green and mining industries, as well as real estate development prospects within Oman’s growing network of economic and free zones.

As part of its agenda, the team organized a dialogue session at the Omani-British Association headquarters, spotlighting the incentives and competitive advantages offered by Oman’s zones and industrial cities. Investors were also introduced to advanced technologies in renewable energy, alongside prospects in re-export, storage, and supply chain operations.

In parallel, the delegation engaged with experts in real estate and housing solutions for workers in economic zones and held talks with fund managers supporting renewable energy-linked industries. Discussions centered on competitive financing models to attract major factories and future-focused industries.

The visit also coincided with the logistics conference in London, jointly organized with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and Asyad Group. The event shed light on the logistics potential offered by Oman’s robust infrastructure, free zones, and adjacent ports.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy emphasized that the Authority sought, through this visit, to build strategic partnerships that enhance the competitiveness of Oman’s economic and free zones and industrial cities, and opportunities to attract a number of future industries to provide new job opportunities and reduce the import of production inputs for large factories, thus supporting economic diversification priorities, especially in the identified industrial clusters. He pointed out that this visit reflected the growing interest of the British business community in investment opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman.Delegation from Public Authority for Special Economic Zones showcases Oman’s industrial future to British business leaders
