MUSCAT : The report placed Oman fourth globally on the index measuring residents’ sense of safety, particularly at night.
Scoring an impressive 91 points in the “Law and Order” index, the Sultanate reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to ensuring the highest standards of security and public safety. Gallup International highlighted that Oman’s strong law enforcement framework, centralized governance, and continuous investment in urban safety and infrastructure have played a decisive role in creating a secure environment for its people.
The report emphasized that Oman’s low crime rates and consistent efforts to maintain stable public order have fostered one of the most widespread feelings of safety worldwide.
