KUWAIT : Oman’s delegation was led by His Excellency Dr. Yahya bin Nasser Al-Khusaibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs. The high-level meeting brought together justice officials from across the GCC to discuss policies aimed at strengthening legal frameworks and enhancing cooperation between member states.
Key topics included the preparation of a comprehensive policy for cooperation among the GCC justice ministries, in line with Oman’s initiative to promote judicial integration. The agenda also covered draft unified rules on combating discrimination, hate speech, and contempt of religions, as well as frameworks to address human trafficking and cybercrimes across the Gulf.
Additionally, the meeting reviewed the annual report of the Committee of Heads of International Cooperation and Relations Departments in the justice ministries of member states, reflecting ongoing efforts to bolster cross-border legal collaboration.
