MUSCAT – According to the CDAA, its operations centre received an emergency call reporting the incident, prompting the immediate dispatch of firefighting and ambulance units to the scene. Teams worked through the night to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent facilities.
The Authority confirmed today that the blaze has been fully extinguished, and also urged companies and industrial establishments to strictly adhere to its safety regulations and fire prevention guidelines, warning that non-compliance can lead to serious consequences. “The Authority calls on institutions and companies to comply with the safety requirements issued by it, to avoid the recurrence of such fires,” the statement said.
