Muscat: The direct route will connect Muscat International Airport with Beijing Capital International Airport, operating two weekly flights on Sundays and Wednesdays. China Eastern Airlines will operate Airbus A330-300 aircraft with a seating capacity of 299 passengers, catering to both leisure and business travelers.

Engineer Ahmed bin Saeed Al Amri, CEO of Oman Airports, described the launch as a strategic milestone that will strengthen Oman’s position as a regional hub for aviation and logistics.

Li Bin, head of the China Eastern Airlines team, emphasized that the collaboration reflects the depth of Oman–China relations. He added that the service will provide new facilities for travelers and businesspeople while creating wider opportunities for trade and economic exchange.
