MUSCAT : Former Omantel Chief Executive Officer Talal Said Al Mamari has shared a heartfelt farewell message following his decision to step down after more than a decade in the role.
Al Mamari described his years at the helm of Oman’s leading telecom operator as a “defining chapter” in his life, marked by milestones that went beyond corporate achievements. “Looking back, I feel immense gratitude. With an extraordinary team beside me, we turned challenges into opportunities, expanded Omantel’s presence beyond our borders, and helped shape Oman’s path towards Vision 2040,” he wrote.
He emphasized that the spirit of collaboration was what truly defined Omantel’s progress, more than the milestones themselves. “Leadership is never about one individual, it is about building together, and I was fortunate to witness that spirit every day,” he noted.
