Oman Post secures gold in express mail performance for third consecutive year

Oman Post won the Gold Category Award for International Express Mail Service (EMS) Performance for the third consecutive year, and retained its second-place ranking in the Customer Experience category among members of the Universal Postal Union (UPU).

MUSCAT – These awards, based on 2024 performance metrics, were announced during the Extraordinary General Assembly of the EMS Cooperative held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.


Ahmed bin Nasser Al Amri, Acting Senior Executive Director of Business Solutions and National Coordinator at Oman Post, hailed the achievement as a testament to the company’s continued commitment to excellence and innovation in postal services.


He pointed out that being at the forefront of the sector among the world’s best international express mail service providers is a true reflection of setting new standards through reliable and flexible solutions that connect Oman to the world. He added that such recognition strengthens Oman Post’s position in the global postal sector and supports the Sultanate’s vision to become a regional and international hub for trade and logistics.

The EMS Performance Awards are held annually to honour postal operators that demonstrate outstanding performance in international express mail services. The EMS network, coordinated by the Universal Postal Union, connects 175 countries, promoting excellence and collaboration among global postal service providers.
