Doha: Dr. Majed Al Ansari, official spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, issued a statement confirming that the incident targeted civilian areas in the Qatari capital, putting both citizens and residents at risk.
“The State of Qatar strongly condemns this criminal assault, which constitutes a blatant violation of all international laws and norms, and poses a serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents in Qatar,” the statement read.
Qatar’s authorities, including security forces and civil defense, were immediately deployed to contain the situation, secure the affected area, and ensure the safety of residents. Investigations have already been launched at the highest level to determine the full scope of the attack.

Dr Al Ansari stressed that Qatar “will not tolerate this reckless Israeli behavior” nor any act that undermines its sovereignty and regional security. He added that more details would be shared as investigations progress.
