MUSCAT – The announcement coincides with the Ministry’s participation in the ongoing COMEX 2025 exhibition.
The Ministry clarified that Omani citizens aged 21 and above, who meet the legal requirements, can now submit their registration applications to be included in the electoral register. Registration can be completed through the ‘Election’ mobile application, the official elections website (elections.om), or via the Ministry’s AI-powered virtual assistant available at its COMEX exhibition booth.
Citizens are also advised to make sure that their national identity cards are supplied with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for electronic authentication.
