Muscat: As part of the ongoing Salalah Tour 2025, the Directorate of Relations and Security Information at the Royal Oman Police announced that specific roads in Dhofar will be temporarily closed during Stage Two of the cycling race. The closures will affect both single and dual carriageways and will be lifted immediately after each group of cyclists has passed.
Stage Two will begin at 9:00 AM from Taqah Castle. Cyclists will proceed to Madinat Al-Haq Roundabout, turn right towards Mirbat Roundabout, and continue to Mirbat Castle. From there, the race returns to Mirbat Roundabout, then takes a left towards Al-Mamorah Roundabout, continues to Arzat Roundabout, and proceeds to Asher Roundabout, with the final stop at the Hajif.
Authorities have advised motorists to plan alternate routes and exercise caution throughout the event duration.
