Muscat: The Directorate of Relations and Security Information at the Royal Oman Police confirmed that a series of road closures will be implemented during the Salalah Tour 2025 cycling race. The closures will affect both directions on dual carriageways and single carriageways, with roads reopening immediately after each group of cyclists passes.
The race is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM from Al-Maghsail. Cyclists will proceed towards Raysut Roundabout, turning left at As-Samakah Roundabout, continuing through Taqah and Madyan Salalah roundabouts. The route will then pass through Tatam, head towards Qirun Hiriti, take a right at the Zeek exit, and conclude at Darbat Waterfalls, one of Dhofar’s scenic landmarks.
Authorities have urged road users in the area to cooperate with traffic personnel and avoid using affected routes during the race hours. The public is also encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and stay updated through official communication channels.
