MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health has replaced over 170 expat nurses with Omani nationals.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, MOH said the Omani nurses will start their work in eight government hospitals. “It has been decided to let them begin work starting on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020, according to the places of work they are nominated for,” MOH said.
The list of hospitals include, the appointment of 62 nurses at Sohar Hospital, 42 nurses at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, 35 nurses at Ibra Hospital, 18 Ja’alan Bani Bu Ali Hospital, 8 nurses at Sur Hospital, 5 in Khasab hospital, 2 nurses in Al Buraimi hospital and one nurse in Haima hospital..
