Muscat: Trading value on the exchange reached RO 33.6 million, a sharp increase of 40.1 percent from the previous session’s RO 23.98 million, according to the daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange.
The report further noted that the overall market value rose by 0.411 percent, bringing the total to approximately RO 29.77 billion.
Foreign investor activity also played a role in today’s session. Non-Omani purchases amounted to RO 1.987 million, representing 5.91 percent of total trades. Meanwhile, non-Omani sales stood at RO 2.511 million, or 7.47 percent, resulting in a net outflow of RO 524,000, equivalent to 1.56 percent of the market.
