MUSCAT: Anyone who loses Omani nationality must transfer the ownership of his/her land to an Omani citizen in less than two years, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has said.
According to the government, the regulation will be implemented starting from November 19. “Starting on 19th November, a period of two years will be given to anyone who lost, revoked, or have withdrawn their Omani citizenship to transfer the ownership of the land granted to them to an Omani citizen, regardless of whether it is a space or land with occupations,” the Ministry said in a statement.
