MUSCAT : Abraj Energy Services SAOG (Abraj) has secured contract extensions valued at over OMR 85 million for the operation of four drilling rigs with Occidental Oman (OXY). The renewal covers a period of five years, extending operations until August 2030, and underscores the company’s strong performance and reliability in Oman’s energy sector.
The company said the long-term extension reflects the strength of its strategic partnership with Occidental Oman and provides greater revenue visibility, reinforcing Abraj’s financial sustainability and growth outlook.
Zahran Al Kindi, Chief Operating Officer of Abraj, confirmed in a disclosure to the Muscat Stock Exchange that the extension is a recognition of the company’s operational excellence and commitment to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices.
