MUSCAT – According to the forecast, clouds will continue to flow across the country, bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies in many regions.
Scattered rainfall is currently being recorded along the coastal stretch from Ras Al Hadd to Ras Madrakah, with similar conditions expected to persist in the coming hours.
The governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar are likely to witness sporadic rain showers.

In Dhofar Governorate, the monsoon season (Khareef) remains active, contributing to intermittent drizzle and occasional rain, particularly in coastal areas. The skies are expected to stay partly cloudy to cloudy, enhancing chances of seasonal rain activity.
The forecast also indicates:
• Chances of high to medium clouds advection and isolated rain over rest of the governorates.
• Chances of convective clouds formation and isolated rain – occasionally thundershower – over Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas.
• Chances of low clouds/ fog patches at late night and early morning over the coastal areas of Arabian Sea and Oman Sea.
• Chances of dust rising over desert and open areas
The Oman Meteorology Department has urged residents and motorists to exercise caution, particularly due to:
• Reduction in visibility during fog formation and thundershower
• Reduction in visibility due to dust
• Downdraft wind
• Flow of wadis
