MUSCAT: Laila bint Ahmed al Najjar, the newly appointed Minister of Social Development has appreciated the Royal directives from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to provide laptops to students from low-income families who are enrolled in higher education institutions for the new academic year (2020-21).
In the wake of coronavirus outbreak, educational institutions in the country are preparing for online learning.
“At a time when the world is going through the most difficult times, this is indeed a great gesture from His Majesty the Sultan,” the Minister said.
