BRUSSELS – The pan-European STOXX 600 index rose 0.8 percent, approaching its all-time high of 1.8 percent reached on March 4, marking a 19.5 percent rebound since its April lows.
Most regional stock exchanges were also positive, with the UK’s FTSE 100 rising 0.3 percent, the German DAX rising 0.7 percent, and the French CAC 40 climbing 1.1 percent.
