MUSCAT – According to the report, the tremor occurred at 07:54 am local time in the Fars region of Southern Iran, registering a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake’s epicentre was located approximately 397 kilometres northwest of Khasab, in the Musandam Governorate of Oman.
