MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences to President Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid of the sisterly Republic of Iraq over the fire that broke out at the commercial centre in Al Kut city in Wasit Governorate, eastern Iraq.
His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere condolences and deep sympathy to His Excellency, the families of the victims, and the brotherly Iraqi people over this painful incident, praying to God Almighty for a speedy recovery for the injured and to spare their country further unfortunate disasters.
