MUSCAT: Seven expats have been arrested in Dhofar Governorate for smuggling and trafficking narcotic substances, the Royal Oman Police said on Friday.
In a statement issued, ROP said: “The Dhofar Governorate Police Command has arrested seven persons of Asian and African nationalities on charges of smuggling and trafficking narcotic substances. A total of 52 containers of hashish, 4,539 tablets of psychotropic substances, morphine and crystal drugs were found in their possession. The case is under process.”
