MUSCAT – In a statement issued, the ROP stated that the arrested individuals promoted residential, commercial, and entertainment properties at unrealistically low prices to lure victims.
They then requested bank transfers as down payments to confirm reservations, using fake identities and contact details belonging to other individuals to conceal their tracks and evade law enforcement.
