MUSCAT – The initiative, unveiled on Sunday, aims to empower Omani entrepreneurs and startups in the cybersecurity sector and foster innovation aligned with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

The programme is being held from July 13 to 24, 2025, at the Hadatha Centre for Cybersecurity Industry at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Muscat. It is organised in collaboration with the university and in strategic partnership with the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development and support from Eshraqa Foundation for Community Development.

The program targets entrepreneurs and startups in the field of cybersecurity from Muscat Governorate. It aims to enable them to develop their innovative ideas and transform them into viable commercial projects, whether in the local, regional, or global markets.

This program complements the efforts of the Hadatha Center, which seeks to consolidate the Sultanate of Oman’s position as a leading country in the field of digital innovation and cybersecurity in the region by building a specialised industry based on human capital and relying on creativity and modern technologies.

The program includes a training package covering strategic and operational planning skills, financial management, visual identity development and digital marketing, team management and employee selection, as well as market analysis and exploring economic opportunities and challenges to ensure project sustainability.

Participants will undergo two basic training phases. The first will focus on developing a business model, formulating strategies, and preparing feasibility studies. The second phase will include technical and practical support, building a financial model, and training on project presentation skills to investors and supporting entities.

This program reflects the commitment of national institutions to supporting innovation and technological entrepreneurship, in line with the Sultanate’s digital transformation goals and Oman Vision 2040.
