MUSCAT : In an official notice, the Ministry highlighted growing concerns over individuals and influencers promoting tourism services that do not hold valid licenses. Such actions not only risk compromising the quality of services for tourists but also violate national regulations, leaving both promoters and tenants vulnerable to legal accountability.
Tourists heading to the Dhofar region, especially during the popular Khareef season, are urged to verify the legitimacy of tourist establishments before making any bookings.
Accordingly, the Ministry urges all visitors coming to Dhofar Governorate to ensure that the tourist facility is licensed before making a reservation to ensure the quality of services, obtain competitive prices, and guarantee the rights of the tenant.
