Authorities seized two prohibited chemical substances allegedly used to accelerate the ripening of bananas, and apprehended individuals found illegally adding sugar to coconut drinks — a practice that violates food safety standards.
Additional violations included failure to clearly display price lists for consumers, resulting in 10 stalls being shut down for non-compliance with approved health and technical requirements.
