MUSCAT – In a statement issued, the Municipality stressed that address signs are not decorative items or playthings, but essential tools that help organise daily life and ensure public safety.
“Removing or defacing street names and building numbers causes confuses residents and visitors, and hinders the arrival of ambulances and fire trucks. These signs were not put in vain, but to organize our daily lives. So let us preserve them,” the Municipality stated.
