MUSCAT: After five months of closure, the iconic Muttrah Souq has been allowed to reopen, starting from Tuesday, the Supreme Committee announced.

Apart from the Souq, gyms inside hotels, shops selling tobacco and tobacco products, newspapers are allowed to operate business.

The decision also include opening tourist restaurants and sports halls in tourist facilities. Sports stadiums will also be opened for specific purposes, as clarified by the decision
